Airsoft AEG Upgrades
At ADZZZY's ARMOURY it is important to get the best out of your Airsoft AEG rifle. To achieve this we have the following upgrade options to suit all needs and budgets. The Stage upgrades are suitable for the majority of AEGs running a V2 or V3 gearbox, however there are some exceptions as not all Airsoft manufacturers have the same internals. Some of these upgrade options can also be applied to other styles of gearboxes found in other rifles (P90, AUG, M14) but not all of the stages may be compatible but variation may be available. Please discuss with ADZZZY your requirements for the rifle you have. Also you are welcome to discuss a tailored upgrade if you have specific requirements that you would like to consider.

Stage 1 is the first step in upgrading your rifle. One of the most important parts in your AEG is the hop rubber as it has the biggest effect on how far your BB can travel. It doesn't matter how good the rest of your rifle is if you hop rubber is not working effeciently.

Stage 2 is about getting the desired power form your airsoft gun and ensuring it is durable at the same time. Here we upgrade important parts to handle stronger springs and more powerful batteries while ensuring that your gearbox is running smoothly. Target power is around 1 joule. NOTE: Some rifles may need additional upgrade parts to achieve best results, See additional upgrade section below

Stage 3, Now things are starting to get good! Here we are focusing on consistency and accuracy. Achieving the best airseal from the cylinder to the barrel and having a well prepared barrel to encourage the best flight path of the BB for best range and accuracy at range. Heavier BBs help a lot here.

Stage 4, Your airsoft gun is going to be a monster. Whether you are looking for a rapid semi auto for CQB or want to put more rounds down range in a woodland environment, The Stage 4 is going to deliver a snappy trigger response aswell as a faster rate of fire.
Stage 4.5 Brushless motor option +£50
Swap the the Brushed high tourqe motor for a Solink Brushless motor. This gives you extended battery life, Quieter running and superior trigger response and speed.
Stage 5 Red Trigger upgrade! - £395

Programmable setting to control the performance of your AEG
RED trigger replacement upgrade (currently V2 only)
Stage 5 is the top level upgrade offered by ADZZZY's AMOURY to get the maximum performance out of your Airsoft gun. This will give you all of the range, accuracy, trigger response and rate of fire that you desire as well as the ability to program your AEG for burst fire, precocking, battery protection and trigger sensitivity.
Stage 5.5 Brushless motor option +£50
Complete your upgrade with a Solink Brushless motor and swap out the the Brushed 31k high torque motor that comes as standard with the stage 5 upgrade. The brushless motor gives you extended battery life, Quieter running and superior trigger response and speed. Solink motors come in the following speeds 28k, 31k, 35k and 40k.
What if I have a P90, AUG or M14?
ADZZZY can offer the same upgrade packages to these AEG variants, However they require specific mosfets to suit each rifle. The Perun mosfets for each of these models is a slightly higher cost compared to the V2/V3. Please get in touch with ADZZZY to discuss prices for these builds.
Additional upgrade options
The stage upgrade options above are great and will be suitable for most AEGs however some rifles wil need a bit extra to get the best from them in terms of performance and durability. Here are some of the additional upgrade bits that may be needed to complete your build to the best it can be.
6x Solid Bushings - £9
Solid bushings offer durability and long term reliability as we push the performance of your AEG gearbox. ADZZZY recommends we replace and standard bushings if they are plastic or made of weak metal or if your AEG has bearings, as bearings are more moving parts that can fail causing the gearbox to require rebuilding. These come in 6mm, 7mm, 8mm and 9mm
Spring guide V2/V3 - £15
Spring guides may require upgrading when the standard ones are made of plastic. This is another measure to ensure durability. Another advantage of the spring guide upgrade is to have the ball bearing washers which allows free rotation of the main spring as it is compressed and release with each stroke of the piston.
Rotary hop chamber (M4 variants) - £25
Rotary hop chamber allows for effective and consistent application of the hop up on your freshly upgraded hop rubber to achieve the maximum range possible. Available for M4 variants and similar rifles. Replaces standard hop chamber that may not apply consistently or offer as much adjustment for fine tuning to achieve best results.
What to expect from your upgrades
After your chosen upgrades have been completed, your rifle will be ready for battle and set up for your designated weight of BB. Your rifle is set up and tested using BLS BBs which are available from ADZZZY's ARMOURY to purchase alongside your service or upgrade if you need any. You can save 10% on any BBs purchased at the time of your service/upgrade.
All upgrades completed to a full auto AEG will have a final power of around 1 joule. This is to allow for any variance between different chronos and brands of BBs used to ensure that you will pass chrono at you favourite Airsoft sites. ADZZZY will not build your rifle with the exact reading of 1.14 joules as this is the LIMIT not the target. I promise you 1 joule is perfect with a correctly setup rifle and will reach a range of around 60 meters.
Expected FPS after upgrade from different weight BBs would be as follows however there will be some variance on final result.
0.20g BB - 320-340 FPS (Beginner weight and not ideal for an upgraded AEG)
0.25g BB - 285-305 FPS (OK, but slightly heavier would be better unless restricted at the site you play at)
0.28g BB - 270-285 FPS (Now we are getting better, Good balance of performance vs cost of BBs)
0.30g BB - 260-275 FPS (Bit heavier now, this will be more stable and be less effected by wind)
0.32g BB - 250-265 FPS (It's going to cost you more but delivers a better overall performance when shooting)
Choose your preferred BB weight when deciding on your upgrade as your AEG will be built to best perform on your chosen weight of BB and you must then stick to that weight as performance with other weights can not be guaranteed.
